Last, but not least, we come to the color BLACK. As we mentioned earlier, light is made up of all the
colors. Black is really the absence of light, or absence of color. So black is not really a color.
Sometimes it is when we don't really hear the voice of God, or feel the presence of God, or are in a
kind of a valley of waiting on God, when He gives us strength.
Isaiah 40:31 says,
"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as
eagles."
Eagles are strong birds. Not only that, but they are able to soar for a long time and just let the wind
carry them along. It has been said that they know how to soar above (fly over) their problems. In
other words, they don't get caught up in what's going on around them, but they rise above it all. Jesus
has raised us up and made us sit together in Him in heavenly places. We are really sitting in heaven,
watching what's going on down below! (Ephesians 2:6) That's how He really has intended us to be.
He's already provided the way, and in His mind, we're already sitting with Him; now it's up to us to
just believe His Word and act on that.
