| In Genesis 1:6 God created the sky. The Bible calls it "firmament." The sky is BLUE. If you live near
the beach or near a lake, you will see that the water is blue, too. The water is like a mirror, reflecting
the sky. When I think of blue, I think of PEACE. God will give us perfect peace as long as we keep
our minds on Him. (Isa. 26:3) John 14:27 says, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; not as the world gives..." No matter where we are, no matter what kind of circumstances we find ourselves in, we can have that peace that passes all understanding. We are to let the peace of God rule in our hearts like an umpire in a baseball game; that peace will help us decide and settle all questions that arise in our minds. (Col. 3:15, Amp.) In the middle of any situation, even if it looks like confusion and turmoil on the outside, you can have perfect peace. All you have to do is just hide in Jesus. He is our strength in times of trouble. (Psalm 38:39) "Thou art my hiding place;thou shalt preserve me from trouble;" (Psalm 32:7) |
