This was the time when Joanna went to Honolulu the first time to get her surgery done. After they anesthetized her and looked with a scope, they noticed they couldn't operate on her because she had an infection.
Much to her relief, she returned home to us and spent another year with us.
Little did we know that we had such little time left with her.
