My Little Angel

My little Angel sent from above
You showed me how to love
You had a heart that was made of gold
A heart so pure, too heavy to hold
Joanna, you're worth more to me
than diamonds or pearls
Everyday I ask, "How could so much joy
fit in such a tiny girl?"
Your mission here was to bring a smile to everyone's face
You did so and completed the race
Now I know you're dancing before the Lord
And with you up there He will never be bored
I love you so much, words cannot express
You taught me a lot, I truly am blessed
So for now I'll say my goodbye
Until I'm up there in heaven,
you're teaching me to fly
