Technical Support Information to Setup Microsoft Internet Chat

STEP 1

Install the program by double-clicking it. Place the chatsock.dll into your c:\windows\system directory. Drag the michat.exe speech bubble icon on your desktop. Double-click on the chat icon. Click on Settings for setting up the various parts to access your chat channel and room.

STEP 2

Type in the Box for the Server (www.hispraise.com) and Click on Nickname to goto Step 3.

STEP 3

Type in the box for the Nickname, the name you want to use in the Chatroom for everyone to see as ( your chat name eg. Judah ) and Type in the box for the Backup Nickname on if you want a second chat name to open a second chat room. Then goto Step 4.

 STEP 4

Type in the box for the Username to access these chatrooms (maker sure anonymous access box below the username is checked.) Then goto Step 5.

STEP 5.

Click on OK then Click on Connect to log into the Chat Server then you get this box open up and you put the name of the Chat room with a (#) infront of the name (eg. #HisPraise ) Then click on OK to access the chat room. Right now we only have #HisPraise and #CoffeeHouse chat rooms. You can also create your own personal chat. Caution: We advise against creating a personal chat with only one other member of the opposite sex.
